DO IT ANYWAY!

This week that have passed, I've been listening to Bo Sanchez's audio teachings from KerygmaFamily.com. You can download Bo's audio teachings here. Just finding enough reasons to find the courage to fulfill my dreams of becoming financially independent.

Currently, I have nothing to prove but I know that God has given me anything that I need. I just have to believe and do something about it. My mother was complaining about too much debt and of me, investing too much in internet marketing. I've been not so focus enough because I think that I'm not pressured enough. But, now I have to pressure myself to act to what I have learned. From my mistakes, from other people, I must have a dream that is worth dying for.

There was something wrong with my thinking why I'm not push enough to act in full-force although I have read so many books about financial education, listened to great marketers, and watched many motivational speakers. I'm half-hearted, even though I spend a large portion of my hard-earned income finding out how can I earn semi-passively in the internet. I've been so self-conscious, of what other people may say or think of me. I'm thinking so much rubbish, when the truth is my value will not diminished by what other people would say. God gave me intrinsic value, period.

True courage is not the absence of fear but rather looking into the eye of fear and say "I'll do it anyway!".

Last week I attended Kuya Jomar's Advanced Internet Marketing Workshop about online selling. So now I'm creating a product to sell online. I gave my self a deadline that I will finished creating a product to sell online before April ends.

Believe you had everything you need whatever your stage in life today. God Bless!

The Seventeen Evidences of a Lack of Humility

4:25AM in the morning, still awakes, I'm not even yawning a bit. I'm posting in my blogs, and while I'm doing that I browse kerygmafamily.com and listen to some of audio teachings

When I have spare time, what I do? Well, some boring stuff to some, like reading books or listening to seminars or interviews of internet marketers and successful businessmen to know how they think. Or sometimes like this particular time, I'm listening to Bo Sanchez' audio teachings to be inspired by the word of God. His teaching is also for non-Catholic or non-religious people, his teachings is applicable to anyone who wants to improved his lot in life.

There is one teaching: it is about how we look at the word "humility". For years I've got misconception about humility. I think I'm humble because I don't talk too much, when someone is near with me and he/she is so talkative and to talk to me, I don't because I think he/she is to proud and boasting so much. When someone praise me, I'm so thankful but subconsciously I thinking that they don't need to.

Well those days was gone, Bo Sanchez talked about Saint Josemaria Escriva's writing about The Seventeen Evidences of a Lack of Humility. I will not explain this more, I just shared to you my experiences regarding this wonderful wisdom.

The Seventeen Evidences of a Lack of Humility

1. To think that what one says or does is better than what others say or do

2. To always to want to get your own way

3. To argue with stubbornness and bad manners whether you are right or wrong

4. To give your opinion when it has not been requested or when charity does not demand it

5. To look down on another's point of view

6. Not to look on your gifts and abilities as lent

7. Not to recognize that you are unworthy of all honors and esteem, not even of the earth you walk on and things you possess

8. To use yourself as an example in conversations

9. To speak badly of yourself so that others will think well of you or contradict you

10. To excuse yourself when you are corrected

11. To hide humiliating faults from your spiritual director, so that he will not change the impression he has of you

12. To take pleasure in praise and compliments

13. To be saddened because others are held in higher esteem

14. To refuse to perform inferior tasks

15. To seek to stand out

16. To refer in conversation to your honesty, genius, dexterity, or professional prestige

17. To be ashamed because you lack certain goods

So many people confused the word "humility" with "pride". Arrogance is having confidence with yourself alone and humility is having confidence with God.
