My Misadventure+ Some Free Stuff

Last Sunday, I forgot that it's my first day at work. Thanked God somebody texted me, that message give me a true-to-life realization.

"Hey, I have to go to work today."

I've been relaxing reading an e-book from Napoleon Hill entitled Think and Grow Rich.It's really a nice book, about how during the author's time find out from 500 millionaires a successful formula that could be used by any average person, me included. It took the author 25 years(wow! that's long) to finished.

I thought my mother would condemn me for being forgetful. Instead, she's the one who prepare my clothes. I could not ask for more.

It was already 6 o'clock and my time-in is 6:30 so obviously I'm late 'cause my average travelling time is about an hour. I try to still go to work because I value my word. I replied in a text with my co-worker that I will go even if I arrive at nine and that is in the evening 'cause I'm already in night shift.

So at eight, I arrived at the gate of the industrial park. It's about 30 minutes walk to my company. Another misadventure to me 'cause it's Sunday and no passenger ride during those day and time. So guess what?

Yap, I walk but before I am half-way of my destination, I saw a van and I wave to the driver. He don't hesitate to give me a ride, so I make a chitchat just asking where is he going(it's kinda weird, he's the one suppose to ask). Thanked God again he's going to the exact route where I am going. So afeter I arrived, I say Salamat po(thanks!) to Mr.GoodGuy(I asked he's name but he doesn't want me to know).

I learned that there's so many people out there that is willing to help and don't want to be recognized for the good things that they have done. Maybe it's just a simple act of courtesy, but this experience reminds me that sometimes help comes from the people that you least expect.

Another thing, when I arrived at the main field to my work, a friend told me why I don't send a text message to my supervisor so he can give me a service. Well, this may sounds dumb but I never thought of it. I just look at the brighter side that I learned a lesson from that experience. Or may I just reasoning? It's up to you bro.
